2025 ICA SAN JOSÉ BENEFIT ART AUCTION
and 45th Anniversary Celebration
Co-chairs Jackie Whittier Kubicka and Nicholas Mailey
In recognition of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the ICA San José, the Board and staff are thrilled to announce that this year’s Benefit and Art Auction will be at the ICA on Saturday evening November 1, 2025.
This year the ICA will honor patrons Nicki and Pete Moffat, along with local artist Naomie Kremer.
Nicki Moffat is currently on the Board of the ICA and along with her husband Pete, has been a steadfast leader and supporter of its mission for years. The Moffats are well-recognized across the region as advocates for local artists and arts organizations, often hosting events in their Palo Alto home.
Naomie Kremer has a long and meaningful history with the ICA. In 2005, her first retrospective Keeping Time: Naomie Kremer Works 1992-2004 included a substantial, full-color catalogue. As her career flourished, Kremer had a second exhibition with more media-based works at the ICA in 2015. Naomie is a celebrated painter, video artist and stage designer whose innovative “hybrid paintings” merge traditional painting with video to create immersive, multidimensional experiences. Her work draws on themes from nature, architecture, and literature, and is included in major public and private collections, including the Whitney Museum and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. She is represented by Modernism, Inc. (SF).
Please note, the works to be included in the Benefit & Art Auction will be fully installed by Friday evening October 3, 2025 when the ICA will host its annual Artists’ Mixer event to showcase the works and bring all of the artists together.
