This is a free event for ICA San José members. To RSVP, please email Haley Kerrigan haley@sjica.org. If you are not a member, please RSVP through Eventbrite.
ICA San José program fees allow us to continue to program at an ongoing high-level, investing in the local arts infrastructure. If price is in any way a barrier to entry, and you want to be a part of any program at the ICA, please let us know by writing to Haley Kerrigan at haley@sjica.org.
The ICA San José is pleased to host a talk by art historian Alexander Nemerov, the Carl and Marilynn Thoma Provostial Professor in the Arts and Humanities at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Nemerov will speak about Blaustein’s solo-show Sarah Blaustein: Present Tense. After Nemerov’s talk, Blaustein will be in conversation with Elizabeth Sullivan (Vice President, Pace Gallery) on Sarah Blaustein: Present Tense, a series of site-specific, lush, bodily paintings installed in the Front Gallery to create a full-sensory experience.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 16th at 6PM.
