Join us for this informative professional development program that focuses on financial literacy and how to best prepare for the upcoming tax year. Gain a better understanding of your finances as an artist and learn about money management techniques for the future. 1040 Made Easy is led by the ICA’s Deputy Director, Lee Ann Payne, who is both an arts administrator and a creative actor and director.
Lee Ann Payne serves at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary (ICA) Art Deputy Director. Ms. Payne holds an MBA and Finance from the University of Washington and an MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University For more than 20 years, Lee Ann has been supporting art and artists through her personal effort as a performer and her work as an administrator of art organizations. Having experience in many sides of the art-making experience, Lee Ann brings practical tips and a sense of humor to the often tedious side of finance.
