With the ICA’s 38^th annual Connect & Collect Exhibition & Auction as a backdrop, this discussion will cover a variety of topics around collecting art. Panel participants include representatives of the Bay Area art world within the public, private, and advisory realms. Whether you are interested in purchasing your first artwork or are an established collector, you will glean knowledge and inspiration on how to build and manage your collection. Topics will include the benefits of collecting art, where to find art you like, and advice on purchasing artwork and maintaining a collection.

Panelists include is Barbara Goldstein, Public Art Consultant, Rana Davis, Private Collector, and Rebecca Schapp, Director of the de Sasset Museum.
